A preschool pupil at Bayon School

Entraide Asia was founded in early 2025. This summary looks back at its first year: how the work began, where it started, and what it has helped our partner schools do.

How the year began

Entraide Asia started as a small, independent effort by a group of friends. After visiting Maison Chance in Ho Chi Minh City, they decided to help keep its classrooms open for children with disabilities. The first months were spent listening to the teachers and building trust.

Growing the partnerships

In mid-2025 we began funding scholarships and school supplies at Bayon School near Siem Reap, Cambodia. We also started supporting a small community school in Thailand and sponsoring individual students in Myanmar, where local infrastructure remains limited.

What our partners do with this support

At Bayon School, scholarships follow students from primary school to university, with uniforms, supplies, health check-ups and a monthly allowance for families. At Maison Chance, tuition-free primary schools serve children with and without disabilities. Our role is to support these local teams, not to run them.
