Scholarships for Students in Need
The students most likely to succeed are often the ones closest to being pulled out of school. Scholarships close that gap directly.
Secondary school is where families run out of options
Primary school is usually affordable, or at least manageable, for most families Entraide Asia works with. Secondary school changes the math: tuition rises, transport gets longer and more expensive, and older children become old enough to earn money instead of attending class. This is the point where many otherwise capable students leave school for good.
A scholarship at this stage doesn't just pay a bill — it buys a family the ability to choose education over an immediate wage, for one more year at a time.
What a scholarship actually covers
Tuition & Fees
Secondary school and, where a student qualifies, university tuition and registration fees paid directly, term by term.
Books & Study Materials
Textbooks, exam preparation materials and other academic costs that scale up sharply once a student reaches secondary level.
Daily Living Costs
A contribution toward food, transport and lodging for students who must travel or board away from home to continue their studies.
Selected in Person
Students are identified through direct visits to partner schools, prioritizing those most at risk of dropping out rather than the highest test scores.

Bayon School, Cambodia
Entraide Asia's support at Bayon School covers tuition, books and daily living costs for around 400 secondary students who would otherwise have to choose between attending class and helping their family get by — the same model of direct, personally sponsored support Christophe provides to individual students in Myanmar.

Support that follows a student, not a school year
Scholarships are structured as multi-year commitments where possible, because a single year of funding rarely changes a family's long-term calculation. Christophe follows up with sponsored students directly, so support continues as long as it's needed rather than lapsing after one term.
